THE END?!

So bloggers! My recording, editing, posting, updating, stressing, typing, creating is all coming to an end! My A2 media work is done and dusted after all the hard work and I am so so so pleased with my progress and my blog and how I have made it my own! I have loved seeing myself develop and grow in the media world and enhance my skills on the way - minus the struggles and problems we have bumped into on the journey here!

I feel my skills and knowledge within the media industry have come so far and I don't even need to say that.. just look at my previous AS thriller opening and try not to laugh (and then compare it to my latest media edition of my music video EEK!). The research and work I have put into this course have really paid off and I am now able to use multiple editing softwares, cameras, general media equipment and can even engage in conversation about these topics with other people - who knew I'd ever be a media wizard ;)

I am proud of my blog and believe the research, planning and evaluation of media and music videos represented throughout my blog show my progression and hard work (sweat and blood) within the course! I will be gladly taking away all my skills from the past two years and hopefully carry on building on them to amplify my understanding of the media industry!

Thank you for coming back and keeping updated on my blog and I shall hopefully see you in the future!.. Who knows, I might have another blog educating others on media, instead of me being the one learning currently haha!

EVALUATION - QUESTION 1

Hi guys, the next 4 blog post will be revolved around the evaluation of my A2 music video and ancillary tasks. There will be four questions related to my work and all will be presented in different ways. My evaluation is the last part of my A2 coursework and will be the last few blogs on here. So please stick around to read them all!

Question 1 - In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

 

PS - I sincerely apologise for the amount of laughing and awkward faces you see in this video! Myself (in the middle) and Brooke (on the right) are not used to being infront of the camera and found it difficult to compose ourselves!

Hi Guys, the next post you will see after this is the completed CD cover with the insert, front cover and back cover. So, to make it more interesting for viewers, I am posting the 'before' shots of the pictures we have used. These pictures are unedited and have not been touched so you will be able to compare them to the next blog post of the final piece and see the transformation between the 2!

These will be the main pictures you see, as we have used them for the front and back cover. The insert however has a slight twist. Instead of using one picture we took, we decided to use an actual video clip but screenshot it from different angles. We did this multiple times and I think it creates a great effect and a sense of individuality which we personally, as a group LOVE! (It's all about standing out from the crowd).
